# Kasabay Ride Share

> Philippines reverse-matching rideshare. Drivers publish the route they are already taking. Passengers request a vehicle class. A driver is offered only when the vehicle fits and both trips share a 10 km corridor.

Kasabay Ride Share does not dispatch the nearest free driver. Pickup and drop-off must sit on the driver's route, in that order, and the driver must still be within 10 km of their own route. The public site is in Filipino. Tagline: "Kasabay Ride Share — Sabay sa biyahe".

## Matching rules

A driver is kept only when all of these are true:

1. Wheel type, seats, bike class, displacement, and expressway eligibility match the passenger request.
2. The driver's current GPS point is within 10 km of the passenger route.
3. The driver is still within 10 km of their own submitted route.
4. Pickup and drop-off are each within 10 km of the driver's route, with pickup before drop-off.
5. The driver has not passed the pickup by more than 10 km.

Candidate lookup samples the passenger route and searches nearby drivers. The 10 km corridor tests are what actually accept a driver.

## Vehicle classes

- Car (`4_wheels`): up to 6 passengers. Expressway-eligible.
- Motorcycle (`2_wheels` / regular): displacement under 400cc, 1 passenger only. Not expressway-eligible.
- Big bike (`2_wheels` / premium): displacement of at least 400cc, 1 passenger only. Expressway-eligible.

A passenger asks for one class plus a minimum seat count. A regular motorcycle cannot take an expressway trip.

Oo. Sa Kasabay Ride Share, live ang location habang naghahanap ng match. Kapag accepted o in progress na ang trip, puwedeng mag-chat ang pasahero at ang driver.

### Kailangan ba ng referral code sa Kasabay Ride Share?
